CYAN is an indie pop band formed in 2016 by Joseph Levi and Matthew Johnston in Rock Hill, SC. They released their debut single, Bored, in 2018 to strong acclaim. As they prepared to record their first EP at Ginger Cat Studios, they brought on Brittany Winans as a keyboardist, vocalist, and lyricist. In 2020, the band released their debut album, Tidal. CYAN’s sound blends dreamy pop textures with a subtle funk influence—music made for dancing, daydreaming, or simply getting lost in the moment.
